Active Torque All Wheel Drive
RAV4 AWD LE and AWD XLE feature an active torque all-wheel drive system that shifts from front wheel drive to all-wheel drive as soon as the system senses wheel slippage. You save on fuel when the going is good, and get enhanced traction the moment you need it. Seamlessly and automatically.
Stop & Start Engine System
RAV4 LE AWD, and XLE AWD feature a Stop & Start engine system that helps to improve fuel economy, especially in city driving with its many stops and starts. The system automatically stops the engine while the vehicle is stopped temporarily such as at traffic signals. The engine automatically restarts when you release the brake pedal. There’s no extra steps that you have to take, just fewer stops for fuel along the way.
Power Back Door
Enjoy easy access to RAV4’s large cargo area with an available power back door. On Trail and XLE models, the back door is opened and closed with the push of the button on the key fob. On Limited models and with the XSE Technology package, the kick-sensor power back door is operated with a wave of your foot under the rear bumper.
2023 RAV4 Hybrid
Built in Canada, RAV4 Hybrids are as fun-to-drive as they are fuel efficient. Available in five unique models including the super sporty XSE and exceptionally refined Limited, plus the first off-road hybrid Woodland Edition.
